the pc valve built into the valve cover was bad on my car and the gasket was leaking so decided that a new valve cover was the best way to go. It is a big job replacing the cover on these BMW engine so I didn't want to have to do it twice . fit good and works . I also replaced the pcv hose that was cracked

It’s a great valve cover, fit in easy and I used the included gaskets and bolts ! 2,000+ miles and so far no leaks/issues. Only thing I recommend is using stock oil cap and not the included one. I drive the car hard too, redline everyday. Old valve cover was leaking and had bad pcv valve, this fixed the issue and this new valve covers PCV is removable separately which is great if there ever any issues in the future it’s an easier, cheaper fix. It also made the engine look nicer

Original valve cover gasket was replaced in 2019. Lasted a few years until it started leaking and smoking onto the exhaust again, causing heaps of visible smoke. Bought this one and had it installed by a BMW tech. Had no issues and it has been 5,000+ miles.

I bought this instead of picking up a kit from my typical places like FCP or ECS. I thought, even the OE valve covers end up or having the PCB break pretty quick so why not save some money and take a chance? Well it's half the price of most others and fit perfectly, no problems or leaks of any kind, PCV works perfectly. Only knocked off a star because of packaging. Box came torn up and it was not secured very well.

Really blown away by the top quality of this valve cover. The entire box came wrapped in black plastic, to protect it from the rain which I really liked because there was a terrential downpour at our house when it was delivered. It wasn't like done by the delivery place it came that way. I personally couldn't bring myself to buy a new one from BMW in plastic for 650 dollars. That's stupid. I did however buy genuine BMW eccentric sensor, valve cover gaskets, breather tube, because I've read a lot that even the Elring brand ones leak. That being a gasket issue not the valve cover itself. Luxury cars are fussy. You do not want to install a cheap sensor or gasket trust me. This job is not for the faint of heart either. It's not awful but it's not for everyone if it's done right, is all I'm going to say. Anyway very pleased with the quality of the valve cover itself for 130 bucks

Love this valve cover! I've replaced the plastic one 2 times now so I was like not again glad I found this one! It fit so well I try to find parts from A-Premium first now over anything else this brands parts fit and function like OEM. To be honest the quality of this aluminum valve cover is well over the quality of the stock plastic one in every way possible! Thanks no leaks great price lower then the oem part quit a bit and I love the silver look to it. Install was no harder or easier then the stock so all was perfect! Gasket fit in the cover perfectly didn't fall out when you tried to put the cover on! The only down side is it's a little more engine noise now but I don't mind that just had to get use to it!

It fits like OEM and no leaks so far! UPDATE: DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED GASKETS UNLESS YOU WANT TO DO THE JOB TWICE. 3 months after installation the engine started smoking again, and sure enough, oil was leaking from the valve cover gasket and the valvetronic motor gasket that was provided with this kit. I have replaced them with OEM Elring gaskets and so far so good. I wish I listened to the other reviews before I used the provided gaskets that came with this kit. The valve cover itself seems to be holding up just fine.
