  • Knowledgeable book worth the buy
Format: Spiral-bound
Book came in great condition, I love that it has so manny knowledge for coin beginners from prices mint value to errors. This is a book that you will love to use for coin history to coin value. The book it’s not big so it’s perfect to carry with you to places. Downside just like any book they will always be updated due to the fact the coins of erros will keep popping up. Would be nice to see coins that have been sold on heritageAuction for the newer coins from 2000- present, where they have been sold for $$$ for whatever reason. So always check online for the newer coins. Hopefully they can sell digital or 1-5 pages of the newer coin errors and mint so we can add it to the book. Ps. With this book don’t use the book with greasy or sweaty hands the black ink letters will smudge away on ur book. ... show more

  • Very useful and thorough resource
Format: Spiral-bound
I have used the book to supplement the work of a local dealer, who provided an appraisal of a portion of a collection father left me and my brothers. The book offers very welcome and useful information on the grading (and value) of specific issues, which a dealer might not always provide in such detail as the book. I also found it useful to compare estimated values provided by the book with those which the dealer supplied. The book provides a lot of fascinating history about US coinage, and will always be a more thorough resource than that of the dealer. But neither represents what a given coin might bring if sold, given fluctuating market values. ... show more

  • A comprehensive guide
Format: Spiral-bound
We bought this guide to use so that we might intelligently sell off some old coins. This is a very easy to use and access reference and it has great quality photos - close ups, color and black and white. For the average coin seller, or collector this may be the only reference book you may ever need to buy. And made in the USA to boot. ... show more

  • Red Book of Coins
Format: Spiral-bound
I have bought Red Books for years and I love them. The problem I have this year is, I don’t know if it’s my fault, (which it probably is) or I was sent the wrong size book. I always get the large book, along with the large print because my eyesight has always been horrible. When my book got here, not only was it not large print, but it’s a small book. But I can’t say anything negative about the Red Book for coins. I just wish I would have got the right book, because I can’t get another one this year …. too expensive when you are on a fixed budget. 🧓🏻 ... show more

  • Must have for collectors
Format: Spiral-bound
Getting started with coin collecting? Add to cart. Do it. DO IT NOW! Lots of information on US released coins, and details the history of the design of the coin. I love the spiral binding of the book and it lays flat making it easy to set aside while I'm researching coins. Does not include international information - you'd have to get that book seperately. ... show more
