Yes, the can arrived somewhat damaged but nothing bad; it did have a VERY long journey without any doubt whatsoever. Now, what about the oil? It is probably, with a very low risk, one of the best olive oil you can find. Yes, it has a special taste, somewhat sweet and pleasant, VERY special taste. But, most importantly, it does have the distinctive effect on the throat and that is, one feels that spicy effect that an olive oil must produce. So, I do recommend heartily this olive oil. This olive oil has a very clean taste. Just a hint of olive to it. I really like putting this on my salads. I do not cook with olive oil as it has a low heat point. If you go above that point any low point oil will go carcinogenic. So, I drizzle on my tomatoes and put in salad dressings. I highly recommend this oil.
