I recently was introduced to the concept of a "navigator" pendant used in a romantic gesture, such as this necklace. I have become a huge fan of this style of necklace. I picked this one up for my middle teenage daughter, displaying her emerald birthstone front and center. This necklace was designed and crafted with precision and intricate detail. I love how the navigation compass has been engraved, "I'd be lost without you", this speaks volumes to the recipient. The stone they use is a top quality 5A Cubic zirconia stone. The clarity is very good, the stone is brilliant and well placed. No issues with slight shift in the stone, it is set very durably. Below are some of the main reasons I decided on this particular necklace for my darling daughter. *Design: Very symbolic necklace- using the navigator theme to show that no matter distance or time, the recipient is never alone. *Gorgeous Rose Gold color- the fill is 18K Rose gold as well as the plating *Dimension size: 0.98 x 0.98 inches for the pendant and the necklace is 18" plus 2" for an adjusted length to 20 *Top grade cubic zicornia- 5A is the top grade *Variety: this is offered in every birth stone for each month *Metal: Sterling silver * Comfort and ease of use: excellent- a lobster clasp is used. Very simple to take on and off. *Basic care instructions provided: do not shower with this or expose to chemicals -other recommendations listed. Easy to comprehend. Overall, I think this would definitely fall under the category as fine jewelry. It really is a beautiful piece that I know my daughter will enjoy for years to come. The necklace is substantial and does not feel cheap at all. I am completely satisfied with this gorgeous Navigators necklace.
