Finding it typical to string 4, 5 or 6 strikes together during a game and this ball on well dressed/oiled lanes breaks into the pocket and provides a lot of action....Trick for me was to scuff the ball with 800 grit Mirka pad to get my fingertip ball to break... and on dry lanes, I use alcohol to smooth the ball out and remove all the rubber from belt marks that accumulate... My husband wanted a bowling ball so I did my research and I purchased it on Amazon; we got it drilled properly and he’s loves his ball It’s not too heavy as my husband broke his right wrist about 2 years ago and has 9 screws and a metal plate. We played yesterday and had a lot of fun !

This is the only ball I own that I can use for an entire night at league and not have to worry about a ball change. It is also great for when I am struggling with my other equipment, I can switch to the Zen and immediately get back into the groove. I have two, pin up and pin down. I throw at about 16 mph one handed and have about 350-400 revs and although the pin up looks cooler with its angular motion, the pin down stores so much energy through the pins that it gives me more carry. ... show more
