I really enjoy this shoe organizer…now that I got it put together. I wanted an inexpensive way to organize and keep my shoes up off the floor and easier to see to save time. It holds all of my shoes perfectly and I added some crates to the larger compartments and the hooks hold my purses great. The only issue was putting it together. Granted, I am a pretty small person but it took a decent amount of strength and a lot more patience to connect all the rods. Moved into a new house that has a massive two room walk in closet and wanted a way to display my shoes - this is perfect. I did get brackets to secure it to the studs in the wall just for extra stability (and will have to remove it and put it back when it’s time to do the floors) but this was super easy to put together and very sturdy and holds my shoes and handbags perfectly. Definitely holds several pairs of shoes and it's nice having the offset levels for boots if desired although I only need the bottom two levels for a couple pairs. Downfall was assembly. Trying to align all the poles with each level was a real pain in the .. you know. But once I completed it, the product seems reasonably sturdy but it's really lightweight and might be easy to tip. Hopefully the weight of the shoes will keep it in place. Should be fine as long as my cats don't try to jump on the top shelf. It would not be supportive and the little vinyl fabric top shelf layer will probably tear. FYI for cat owners out there considering this product ;) ... show more

Parts missing from packing list. Missed F 6 pcs, missed A 1 connector, missed B 16.5 inch 7 poles and missed D 13.4 6 poles. I didn’t start to put my shelf together until two weeks after I received it. It’s a real nice and sturdy shelf but with parts missing it looks defected. I can’t return it because return date passed. ... show more

Are you patient and good with puzzles? No? Then this may not be the shoe rack for you. It comes in many, many, many... pieces. No part of this item is put together. Before you start building, be sure to use the packing sheet to make sure you have the correct number of pieces for each length of metal pipe, and you have the two pieces of PVC material for the top shelves. I put this shoe rack in my closet, and it is holding strong. I am not sure it would be a good idea to place this next to a front door with people bumping into it, as it might not withstand that kind of daily contact. By the way, you do have a little flexibility on how you put the unit together, you will see the options on the sheet included in the box.
