This mirror is great! It extends to a height that's just a little taller than many competitors, which I appreciate because I use it while standing at a counter. Shorter ones are better for use while seated. It looks nice and is easy to operate, with simple taps, double-taps, and long presses to navigate its functions. It is dimmable, and the brightest setting is VERY bright! I appreciate the color options, too. The portability is a delight. I'd much rather charge this occasionally than have a power cord snaking around the counter. It takes a long time to charge, but that's OK because it holds that charge for a long time. When it's finished charging, the indicator light changes from red to green so you know it's good to go. It offers excellent function. The mirror is clear with a size that will reflect your whole face. It's easy to flip between the standard mirror and the magnifying mirror, and it will stay tilted at whatever angle you choose. The magnification side will probably make you want to double your sunscreen, inject Botox, and maybe hire an exorcist. It REALLY magnifies. With the power of this mirror you can scrutinize every pore, apply eyeliner like a renaissance painter, or pluck that one pesky eyebrow with military precision. It would help with some hand tasks, too. Like untangling a necklace or threading a needle. It is very stable with a weighted base. I do not worry about it tipping. Every attachment point is firm and secure. FYI, if you extend the rod all the way to the highest possible length, the top half will lean to the side a little. After realizing that, I nudged it down a couple of centimeters and it was nice and plumb. This is a solid product that is priced appropriately in my opinion ($41.99 at the time of this review). And it can double as a ring light for photo and video. Two thumbs up.

This mirror has left me in awe. Right of the bat, we start with cute packaging. Its simple and and clean. To be honest, it does not depict how luxurious this item is. I guess you can say its humble. It truly left a good impression on me because most sellers don't put any thought into the packaging. Also it comes super secured and protected. And let me tell you, when I removed the foam and saw the size of the mirror my jaw dropped. Its the size of the box! I want to mention that I'm not a big fan of chrome finished mirrors. This is due to past experiences with similar looking mirrors. The mirrors were usually plastic with a chrome finish that would scratch off. Not this. This is actual metal! And it has some weight to it. To be honest I did not expect this level of quality. You can tell that the brand put so much thought into the unboxing experience. I really felt like a princess. They even included some tweezers!! The curved base is a nice touch. The bottom of the base is a luxurious velvet. And it shows how much they think about the user. The mirror is so clean and slick. The magnification blew me away. The brightness was just enough to be able to see every detail on my face without magnification. As for battery life - I haven't really tested this one. I have been let down by so many LED mirrors that the bar is low. I'm just glad its not battery powered and rechargeable. I'm not gonna travel with it so im not worried about battery life. I'm just glad I'm able to move it around my house with it. But if needed I'll keep it near an outlet. You get so much more than your money's worth with this one. Its well designed and feels like a luxury item. I instantly thought about how this would be an amazing gift idea. Also this is the first time I've been blown away by an unknown brand found on Amazon.

The mirror itself is very nice. I like that instead of a toggle switch on the side, you press a spot on the mirror to turn it on or off (one press for on and two presses to turn off), change the color tone of the light (a single tap while it is on), and brighten and darken it (holding down). I also like that you can raise and lower the height, though I should point out that it only rises to about 20 inches. Depending on your height, you may still need to sit when you use it, or you'll be looking down at it. The magnifying side is great, but you need to be VERY close to it, or it is blurry. So again, you probably want to be sitting instead of standing and looking down into it. Now for the area where it needs improvement. The assembly is not easy, even though it just involves a few steps. Screwing the telescoping rod into the base was fine. But when you try to attach the mirror frame to the telescoping rod, it gets tricky. The instructions say "align the screw holes and tighten." The problem is that you can't use a screwdriver to tighten. The head of the provided screw is smooth - I'm guessing for aesthetics. The screw is squared off just below the head, so you can place the screw in the mirror frame (squared opening) and spin the mirror frame to tighten the screw. But there is no easy way to get it tight enough to prevent wobble. After trying a few different options, I finally found that I could use a grip pot holder (like the ones you use to open a jar) to hold the telescoping rod tightly, and then continue to turn the mirror frame. I was finally able to get it tight enough that it didn't wobble. But it definitely shouldn't be that hard, or require a person to rummage through kitchen drawers to find something that might help tighten it fully. I suspect many people might resort to pliers or other tools to grip the telescoping rod, which would result in scratches and damage to the rod. The design could be greatly improved by just fixing that one issue. Other than the difficulty I had assembling it, it is still a nice mirror, so I'm still giving it 4 stars.
