I've purchased two lengths of this 8K HDMI cable. They're among a half-dozen brands I've ordered and had in hand for direct comparison. The ends, including kirsite with rubber patches on the sides for grip, are my favorite of the cables thus far. The nylon casing is high-end with a smooth protective weave, and enhanced visibility with a quiet silver-grey stripe. It's more pliable and roughly 1 to 2mm more in diameter than some competitors' fully solid core copper construction, which tends to be especially stiff. While I don't have the necessary equipment to test the 8K performance, I have confidence in the cable, which has provided impressive signal response to two high-end 4K sets. The 8K capability makes these more-or-less future proof for any foreseeable timeframe. There's at least one minor criticism that might be worth noting. The claimed 15-foot length measures just over 14'6" on two cables that are closer to 4 1/2 meters than 5, which would measure well over 15 feet. The U.S. standard measurement appears generously rounded. Another brand I ordered has a cable that rivals these, but I feel the ends hold an edge and are favorable on these. The HDMI cable is thick for sure, but looks very durable at the same time. I don't think I will need to worry about the tail ends getting bended anymore. I need a good HDMI cable that would allow me to extend my laptop screen. I connect the cable to my usb-c port hub, which in term is connected to my laptop. My old hdmi cable had some issues and did not support such a set up. This hdmi cable works well with the setup. Even if I move my laptop around, or adjust the height of my monitor, the screen remains stable with no flickering or signs of disconnection. ... show more
