I bought a new Sony A80J OLED TV so I decided it was time to upgrade my HDMI cables. These fiber optic cables work beautifully with UHD Blu-rays and Dolby Vision. I don’t have any 8k or 4K 120 sources to check out the cables’ full capabilities. Only time will tell how long they hold up. Not sure if for short distances this type of cable is needed since fiber optic cables are generally for long runs and my longest cable is only 3 meters (about 10 feet) but I like how thin and flexible these cables are, and it’s probably wishful thinking but they seem to very slightly reduce picture noise and increase clarity in at least a few things I’ve watched. Would purchase again at these low prices. . Update per email from Fibbr: Fibbr emailed me to advise that cables are directional and the ends are marked,1 for source and 2 for display after I first reported they aren’t marked. Black numbers don’t clearly stand out on the fittings. So thanks to Fibbr for letting me know after I missed that. Clearly 5 star HDMI cables. . Update 2: I’ve now purchased 7 of these cables for several different TVs in my house in lengths up to 3 meters and every cable has performed flawlessly at 4k res using HDR and Dolby Vision. I purchased a LGC1 and was looking to hook it to my computer for the occasional game like Forza that I use a controller for. After some online research I was skeptical about buying any cable over 15" and having it maintain what I was looking for, 4K @ 120Hz. The area I had need a much longer cable. I'm a gamer and so is my brother and this cable made such a huge difference in response time, its to the point where I caught me off guard when playing Apex, I'm getting 2 to 3 more kills per game. It feels as if I'm getting zero letancy. My TV is hdmi 2.1, but it would still make a big difference on any monitor or TV. Picture quality and motion improve so much more, you just gatta see for your self. Colors pop much better and HDR never felt more natural and realistic. Dolby vision is a delight, sound quality improved, feels more alive. This ain't no placibo effect alright. I know exactly what I'm talking about and fiber is always going to be much better than copper. Don't doubt your self about buying this cable, for the price and length, you're getting a great quality product and deal that does supports all Hdmi 2.1 features. Because of this same reason and more that I didn't feel like typing, I'm switching all of my cables to fiber and to be more specific to this brand of cable.!!! ... show more

I needed a long HDMI cable to run from my PC in my bedroom to my 4K TV in my living room so I could play Halo Infinite in 4K despite not being able to get a Series X. I looked around and found out regular cables simply can't be that long and still deliver a steady signal, but there was hope in fiber optics, since the data travels over light the signal has zero delay no matter how long the cable is. Since this was one of the cheaper ones (all the others I was seeing either looked like crap or were over $200) I was a bit wary at first but it works exactly as described. 35ft, zero latency, full 4K 60 signal to my 4K 60 TV. Idk how it would handle 8K and higher frame rates since I don't have access to a high fps 8k monitor, but considering how it performs in 4K I'm assuming it will be great for that too going forward. ... show more

The cable works but does not have certification so how do i know if it complies with hdmi 2.1 48gbs speeds. They have another cable for almost the same price with certification.I would go for the other one. The whole point was was to get an hdmi 2.1 but whatever already bought it.

I did buy one of those HDMI cable and when I got it I connected it to my 4K Blu-ray player to a 1080 P movie projector and it works excellent great picture quality sound is also clear in great so after I tested it for a full week I went and ordered myself a second one of the same HDMI cable for my 1080 P TV to my PlayStation 4 and it also works great sounds clear and wonderful picture quality ... show more

This cable is markedly cheaper than all other options, but works flawlessly at the stated 4k 120hz. Using with an RTX 3070 to Sony X900H. Working flawless. I was rather skeptical given the price, but the cable works without a hitch. Cable is thin, packaging feel above average.
