I have a ton of HDMI cables, I have a few 8k cables and a lot of 4k cables, I tested this cable against 8 other cables using a Panasonic ub820 4k Blu Ray Player and a Nvidia shield I tested this cable against 2 8k cables and the rest were 4k cables and by far this is the best cable, the biggest problem with a lot of HDMI cables is that they brighten the image, alter the colors, and make blacks a dark grey to make it easier to see in dark scenes but in doing so they ruin the contrast ratio and color depth, this cable has deep blacks and it is not brightened in any way so you get excellent contrast and deep vivid colors also it was the cleanest looking of the cables. Turns out the older "high speed" cables I bought through a popular internet retailer had a bottleneck where I should have been getting 12 bit color, it was limiting it to 10. I needed a new HDMI cable for my Xbox Series X. I've had really bad luck buying HDMI cables that don't actually support 4K 60Hz, despite what they say. This one actually does it! I am unsure if it supports 4K 120Hz, because my TV doesn't support that, but unlike two previous cable purchases where the HDMI cable just couldn't deliver HDR or 4K 60, with this one I am able to fully support every feature of my Xbox Series X that my TV supports. for about 2 months i have used this cable with a 3 foot hdmi 48gbps extension to reach from my pc to the tv in my game room that i use for my race seat. for 2 months i have had no issues. then mysteriously it quit running at 120hz and would only do 60 if forced to 120 black screen. i thought it was this cable but after removing the extension it worked fine. so i cant determine if it is the extension or the combo with this cable. long story short if you are going for 4k 120hz or 8k 60 more then 16.5 feet u will need a fiber optic hdmi cable which will run you about 5 times more then this. i had downed my rating to a 1 star but moving back up to a 4. The cable no longer does 4k 120hz at all results in a completely black screen. this cable has less then 20 hours of life on it and the company seems to be impossible to contact for replacement. ... show more

I only needed 12ft cables but these were a good price so I tried the 2 pack. They are much thicker and inflexible compared to other cables, so bear that in mind if you need to route them in tight spaces. I could have lived with that had they worked but they failed to carry a 4K HDR signal from my PCs to a OLED TV. The picture drops every 30 seconds or so. I have pretty good GPUs on my PCs... Nvidia 2080 Ti and 3080. The shorter 10 ft cables from another brand that I had bought earlier work perfectly without any issues (aside from being too short). I suspect the extra length of the cable is to blame. Longer cables are less capable of transmitting high bandwidth signals. No way these would work with 8K if my 4K experience is any indication. ... show more
