    • Buy if you are entering gardening world with excitement
I got these new (so I assumed it was new) though when I looked at the shears, it felt it had been used (could have been a return and repackaged). Durability is average, no different from those I already have. In fact, one of my tools is way far superior quality than this but at higher price, of course. This is more appropriate for those who garden at minimal level and are doing more and need to use more tools. I have had it for a month but have not used it and will probably give it away since I am not excited about using this due to the colors or average quality. We all can dress up in a a $5 shirt or $100 shirt... sometimes we do feel different based on the occasions. Well, for me, I trim, prune and maintain my 'babies' daily and I do get enjoyment using high quality stuff. I do have cheap stuff more of course; afterall.. it's all in dirt. If you are looking for high quality items that please you the most, this is not it. But if you want a complete package for your gardening needs, this is a good buy for a set. ... show more
