This product is a perfect fit for my Kia Optima Hybrid. The trunk would not stay shut due to a malfunctioning switch. I watched one YouTube video on how to install and it was so easy. It took me about 15 minutes to install and put the trunk liner back on. Lock works perfect now!! Easy tip: Use a fork to pry up the black clips on the liner. Pull up on the first part of the clip and they come right out! Definitely recommend!! ... show more

Save the money and do the swap yourself. Buy this and replace the old trunk latch if it’s not working for you. We have a 2016 Kia Optima and I was able to replace the trunk mechanism in about 10 minutes.
