It has a larger opening than my current threader, so I have replaced the old with this one! The needles are sturdy and do their job as expected. Really like the selection of needles, also find the needle threaders very helpful, also like the ring band that is in the kit. It is very useful pushing the needle and protecting your finger. The storage box is great, . But I did have to take a small Philips screw drive and push on the dot on the lid to make it stay shut. Only the once. It stays securely shut now..
