I’m terrible at reading descriptions. I saw these mini spoons/shovels and was sold! They are so cute and charming looking! Don’t be fooled though. They are small but they are heavy little spoons. Thick metal. I know it advertises for spices and such but they are very small. I guess If the recipe asks for 1/10th of a teaspoon you may be ok but at that point, just pinch and go. I don’t plan to use these for cooking. I know I’ll find something else to do with them. Some kind of craft or decoration. Maybe a keychain? I don’t know. But they are cute little spoons and shovels. Just not much you can really do with them.

This is a review for THLHKD 8 Pcs Mini Spoons & Tiny Metal Shovels for Home Kitchen, Small Scoops for Spices, Powders & Coffee, Mini Shovel Charms for DIY Crafts & Keychain Accessories These tiny vintage looking spoons are perfect for arts and crafts projects. They appear high quality, with heft for their mini size, but as advertised they are tiny. A lot of people don't realize that the words Tad, Dash, Pinch, Smidgen and Drop are actually real measurements. A Tad is a 1/4 teaspoon, Dash an 1/8, Pinch a 1/16, Smidgen 1/32 and a Drop is 1/64 of a teaspoon. I have a set of these, but unfortunately the one that I can't find is the one needed for comparison here - the Pinch. I used salt as a test and both styles of these spoons measure the same, between a Smidgen and a Dash, meaning they are likely a Pinch (1/16 of a teaspoon). A pinch is also the amount you can pinch between your thumb and forefinger, but that isn't always convenient if you have a small container. These mini spoons are perfect for recipes that call for tiny amounts under the typical measuring spoon set sizes. Personally, I intend to use them in my craft room for things like glitter, seed beads etc. Whether you want to use these for practical purposes or for use in an art or jewelry related project I would recommend. Just make sure you understand the provided measurements. I took a photo with a quarter to make it more obvious. Hopefully, you find this review helpful. PS/ The other measuring spoons pictured come with all five of the official tiny measurements, I'm just missing one. Probably left inside of a container of something. Made by Norpro, I purchased them here on Amazon two years back.

I definitely should have checked the sizes on these things. I had no idea that when they said “ tiny” that they really meant tiny! But that’s on me.. I was expecting coffee stir spoons and instead received spoons and little shovels that might be more appropriate for something entirely different. On the upside, they are well-made frommetal, not plastic. They are attractive. They have the ability to hang on hooks. They seem like decent quality. They’re just much smaller than I anticipated and I’m not sure what I am going to do with them.

I picked up this set of mini spoons and tiny metal shovels, and to my surprise, they really are *mini*—so much so that they don't feel particularly practical. They seem more like decorative charms for a keychain, though the metal's luster and texture do look fantastic. They would actually be quite fun to use for DIY crafts or for making custom keychains. All in all, it’s a very cute set of spoons, but not exactly practical.

Great value for these adorable little spoons! They are made of solid metal, in finishes of shiny gold, antiqued gold, bronze, shiny silver, and antiqued silver. They're very sturdy and high quality. They have lovely ornate details and accents that make them look fancy. And they are definitely functional despite their small size. I'm not sure what I'll use them for yet, but I know I'll find them handy. You can keep them in the kitchen for spices, sugar, honey, salt, and so on. Or you can use them for crafting, such as scooping beads or rhinestones. They have loops on the ends (except for the two smaller round spoons) so you can hang on a keychain, bag charm, or hook if you wish. I love miniatures and these are just so cool.

These spoons are really cute and small. I am using them for crafting. I am using them with my glitter and colored mica powders for use with resin. They are small metal scoops. There are no precise measurement markings on them. This set came with 8 loose scoops. I wish it would have come with a ring or Keychain loop, but it did not, just the spoons. I think that since they are not hooked together I am more likely to lose some of them. They appear durable, sturdy and light weight. They were 4.99 as of April 2026 and I think they are good value for the price. Just wished it would have come with a ring or hook
