This product seems fine. My only issue was when I tried to put it on a wooden gate, the support arm was just slightly too short so when the wheel tries to spin it gets stuck against the wooden gate panel which prevented it from functioning properly.

I purchased this item for a gate I waited years to be able to afford after waiting for the same for a simple chain link fence. After receiving this item i put it in the garage until I had ample time to assemble/install correctly which took months since I’m on the road so much and never at home to casually do it. Over the Christmas break I was finally able to install it only to find one of the wheels bearing defective and the other missing ball in bearing. I was so upset that I have not taken the chance to take them to a machine shop to try to get the brand-new wheel fixed.

It's well built, in fact a bit too heavy duty for our needs so we opted for something smaller. This would be suitable for a large heavy gate. We are actually pretty bummed that we can't use it as it's well made.

This wheel is cheap cheap once the weight of the fence leaned on it the cheap bolt bent on way and the wheel is too tight for any flexion so it won’t roll the other direction once the wheel bends waste of money

live on a cattle farm in Central Florida and have 16-foot galvanized steel cattle gates that are quite heavy. Over time, the weight of the gates often causes them to drag and get embedded in the sandy soil. I purchased this gate wheel to prop up the gate and make it easier to move, and it has been a fantastic solution! The 8-inch wheel is sturdy and can handle up to 600 lbs, making it perfect for heavy-duty gates. The spring-loaded design helps absorb some of the weight, while the 360-degree rotation ensures smooth movement across uneven terrain. This gate wheel is great. It has a spring which is ideal for our yard as it's a little bumpy in that area plus our fence gate has a slight drop in elevation in the yard in front of it, so the spring helps take that out and keep pressure on the gate the whole time. It comes with mounting hardware for a pole although we just screwed ours directly into our gate face, as we have wood and no pole to mount to.
