Chest was fairly easy to put together except for the handle on the side. I could not get bolts started in the attached nuts. Maybe just me. I would recommend this tool box.

It’s not a Craftsman not as sturdy. But for a home garage you can’t beat it. Solid draws fluids and a lot of storage space. Can not believe how well packed it came. You could have put a dozen eggs in that package and I don’t think any would break.

This toolbox it was a bit smaller than I had expected it to be when I opened it. It looked larger in the photos, so note the dimensions. The metal was not quite as heavy as I would like, but for the price, it is a nice little set. I have to say, that this is one of the best packaged items that I have ever received through Amazon. The manufacturer did a great job of designing the protective box and styrofoam inserts. I took it to my office at work so that I would have a place to store tools. There’s always a need for tools at work, and it’s really great to have a designated place to store them rather than in various drawers. This set came in handy for that purpose, the lower cabinet is also a great place to store, larger items, such as drills or other powered hand tools. It won’t hold the type/amount of tools that a professional mechanic would require, but for others who just need to organize a basic set of tools, this fits the bill at a great price. ... show more

The tool box came inside the tool chest. Had to assemble. Assembly was simple. The tool chest looks fine. It does not compete with a Craftsman, however when it comes to material and solid feel and drawer operation. The quality matches the price.

Item was very well packed and protected with no damage to the carton however the back right edge was dented so that means the unit was damaged before it was packed for shipment. But the dent does not affect unit functionality. All needed hardware was included - nothing missing. Minimal assembly - screw in wheels, attach tool tray, screw on small wood door knob and reinstall adjustable shelf behind door (if you want to raise or lower). Fairly lightweight so in my opinion a bit overpriced however this seller offered a coupon discount, the lowest shipping cost (compared to others selling similar units) and one of a few sellers offering orange color option. Fairly sturdy overall, wheels are substantial and roll easily (2 locking & 2 non-locking), drawers slide in and out easily and each has removable thin rubber liner, separate top cabinet unit has 2 recessed handle grips on each side and sits on removable thick rubber mat, two locking bars add security. Drawers in top unit operate with lid open or closed. Regular sized padlocks are too thick to fit through the lock mechanism holes so if you want to lock, you'll need 2 small padlocks. ... show more
