I could not be happier with this mantle!!! It looks so good in our family room. It's hollow inside, so it's not overly heavy, but definately sturdy and substantial. It works. The cabinet makers who did cabinets and floating shelves to left were supposed to do mantel too but didn’t. I found this one and it matches pretty good. Now I have a place to hang my stockings. Was easy to put up and seems pretty sturdy. Decent price. Got the solid option.
