The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our distressed mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

Pretty stoked about being able to get something made of real wood and solidly built from Amazon. It has an easy hanging mechanism that also allows it to be fully supported in the wall and it was easy enough to mount to the concrete on our fireplace. It's not flimsy and it looks great! Only downside is that the piece you mount to the fireplace/wall first, was warped so we had to make a shim for it to sit flush. We purchased the 1-tier Fireplace Mantel, Distressed, Rustic, Floating Shelf, Modern, Real Wood. (72Lx6Hx8D, Brown). Absolutely love it! I couldn’t find reviews of people using it just as a shelf so wanted to be sure to come back and leave a review. Not just a mantle. :) It looks great above the couch. The mounting on this big one was so easy and not complicated at all. The way it’s mounted it will hold a substantial amount of weight. We drilled the mounting ledge into the studs. It’s not overly heavy. Great craftsmanship and looks like it is real reclaimed wood. Perfect and exactly what we wanted. Would buy again for another area of the house as well. This would look great above our wall mount headboard. Love it! ... show more

Ordered 60” mantle and installed on brick fireplace. Easy install and the mantle is beautiful. Seller was super helpful. Original order was lost by UPS, but replacement was shipped immediately after I notified them. Couldn’t be happier with our new mantle.

Love this mantel for our fireplace. Hubby had to shave a little off here and there inside to install but that was due to the way the mason installed the boards it had to be attached to. Other than that it was an easy install. Love the distressed look and seems very sturdy, ruff finish makes it a little sticky to clean but overall we are very happy with the size and color goes well with our floors. ... show more

The mantel is very nice and well built. I do think the rustic look could be perfected a bit. I'd have liked to see more overall distressing of the wood rather than a few chisled out chunks here an there. You can see these in the photo. Not complaining too much, again the price was great, and the overall build is good. It was well packaged, and very easy to put up. It looks amazing with out new shelves and fireplace. The color was exactly as described. We did have a hiccup with shipping speed, but the company communicated well, and followed through as best they could. Beautiful quality. Directions could be clearer, make sure you use the screws on the separate package and not the ones securing the inner wall mount, they are not long enough. Pre drill the holes so you don’t get a bubble. Sturdy and looks great!
