These shelves are amazing. Easy to assemble. They look very high quality. They do not have the typical “metal shelf” appearance . They are sturdier than the normal particle board wood looking shelves. Sleek and space saving while still providing plenty of storage. Excellent value for the price. This product is really great. It's stronger than I expected, holds quite a bit, locks with a key and is on wheels so it's easy to move about the garage. I'm definitely ordering a couple more. It was very easy to put together. I didn't need a second set of hands at all. I was extremely please there were no dents or dings when I unboxed it. The really packaged it very well. I would say I wish it was bigger but then that would mean I didn't have enough sense to measure 71" to see it's exact height before purchasing. All in all its worth the money and if you get it cheaper then your ahead in life. ... show more

I had a flawless experience. The unit was so well packed. If you like to reuse packaging material you'll get quite a lot of Styrofoam, some pieces of Masonite, and four steel sheet metal corners (used to hold everything together during shipping). The assembly was very easy but I took my time and was careful to not make mistakes. You do need a couple tools on hand: a Phillips screwdriver (medium head and not too long) and either a good pair of pliers or a socket wrench to hold a few nuts while you screw the bolts in. Some aspects of the instructions could be clearer especially regarding the doors. I ended up with a flawless storage cabinet and like others have said it looks better than many wood storage cabinets. Personally I like that it's steel because you can use magnets on it for various things. Love it! ... show more

Pretty disappointed. I bought three of these for storage in my basement. Most parts had dents or a piece that was bent. I was able to bend back to relatively normal shape most of the pieces. I might end up trying to paint the one piece that is really scratched up. I took the worst dented pieces and made one cabinet to put in and area that I don’t care if it doesn’t look good. End of the day just know what to expect. These were for storage in my basement. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for a nice cabinet in a living room or area where anyone visiting would see them. They’re garage or basement quality cabinets. ... show more

This looks good, wood like at first glance and has great capacity. It is stable and the shelves adjust easily. The instructions were decent. The material is pretty lightweight but that’s fine for the purposes we need it. The problems were there are a million screws - like about 100 and we forgot to take the charger for drill so my hand was wrecked. It was well packaged and the box had no damage but the unit itself was damaged inside and we have been about to connect the bottom cross bar in the front because it’s misaligned due the damage and two screw holes are completely covered by the bent metal. The plastic stoppers to lock the shelves in place remain a mystery, I have been able to insert a single one, they are too big for the space they are intended to fit. ... show more

OK, I knew what I was going to store in this cabinet, meaning it would not be overloaded. Assembly instructions were clear and unproblematic once I understood that I was second guessing the procedure as I always do. No, the instructions were good. There was classic damage to the corners of the packaged unit which prevented assembly. I anticipated this and whacked things back into shape. The unit then was completed to my satisfaction; I don't give a hoot about a few cosmetic dents. One may or may not have the tools and where with all to effect repairs of bent steel, which, BTW, is no mark on the product itself, just the realities of transportation. I like my Cabinet; it performs as expected for an inexpensive product. I would get another and hope the shippers would be a bit more careful. Always a bit of a crap shoot with shipping damage with a product of these dimensions but this worked out for me. ... show more
