The product was easy to assemble, directions were clear, and all hardware was included. Was slightly unhappy that the backing was cut incorrectly (in a slant), so not all holes were usable or even there. Overall love how it looks and how sturdy it is.

The is the worst kit I’ve ever tried to put together, and I’ve done a ton of them. The engineering on the curved pieces wasn’t well planned and the joints are weak.

Overall, a very attractive bookshelf. Unfortunately, other reviewers were right when they said part of the instructions are incorrect; I think it's the board labeled part 12 where the instructions tell you to put two different types of screws in the wrong holes - this created a situation where part of the broke and looks really bad. Additionally, the backing for the bookshelf is designed incorrectly. As such, there is a gap on the back of the bottom of the bookshelf, and the center has a weird overlapping part in back that looks terrible. Overall,, would I buy this bookshelf again? Maybe, but only because I now know where the instructions are incorrect, and I'd find a different solution for the backing, I guess. My current model, though, was not worth the money I spent on it given the damage and incorrect parts. ... show more
