They do work for me and make it easier to tie fences, but I have small hands. My husband tried using them and he said he had a hard time gripping it because the metal on the sides would poke him. He has big hands so I’m betting that’s the issue. They do seem sturdy though and didn’t bend.

If you have any kind of wire fencing, this tool may come in handy. It helps you tighten any of the wires and twist them so you can tuck them in. I am not sure about using it on ANY kind of wire, but it did work on my low voltage electric fence wire. I would rate this tool a BUY IT item!

If you have a farm you're probably familiar with variety of tools that make thins easier on the farm this is one of those tools that makes life easier. I'd have given it 5 stars if it worked as great as my other small tool I use for bending wire. So far works great

Glad I have this ,makes fencing easier. Works good for clips and high tinsel wire . It’s short could be longer for more torque but it works good but still need a pliers

This is a great tool for using with wire fences! My husband tested this out while installing goat fencing on our property's perimeter and said that it worked well for securing fence ties onto T-posts. It's small enough to where it's easier to use than channel locks for securing the fence around the smaller holes at the bottom. However, he also says that it performs far better with a small gauge wire and would be perfect for using with barbed wire. His only con on this is that it doesn't get fence ties as tight as he likes to secure them. Overall, this is a good little tool for securing wire fencing!

This is a handy gizmo for twisting wire and can replace pliers in a lot of instances. As is though it doesn't seem to cope with high tensile wire which we use a lot. Perhaps with more learning or a longer higher leverage design it would work but you can't quite get rid of your fencing pliers yet. Overall though it wasn't advertised for that purpose. So for Barbed wire or soft fencing wire it is pretty handy.

we are building our chain link fence in our back yard and I saw this tool. It has helped us to build it faster. this tool allowed us to twist the wire lines to make the fence sturdy and strong. We finished a section that would have taken us 4 hours to finish, but with the tool it only took us a little under 2 hours. The product is built from a thick strong metal and can be used for different gauge thickness wires.
