I wouldn't recommend switching between rear and front play due to the TPE being a porous material and the inability to sanitize it properly. That said the item is very affordable for one or the other, heck buy two in two different colors for designation. It may even be fun to use both on your partner at the same time! Though flexible and soft it does ahave a nice firmness to it which makes usage a bit easier.
