The table is not real wood and the vinyl is not durable at all. We are using this for our main room dining table. If it were just a game room item I wouldn’t mind was much, but it’s our main piece and the vinyl peeling after less than a month isn’t good enough for the price of this piece.

You will definitely NOT play like a pro, but it's a decent table for the $ considering the top end is around $7K. If you're looking for a decent table that will entertain the family this will work. The playing surface is smooth albeit not perfectly flat but within reason, and the bumpers are responsive. I have 3 teens and I wanted to create a space to congregate, they especially love the ping pong. It looks nice but it is compressed wood with thin laminate, I'm expecting 5 years before it looks beat up. The dining top is very cheaply made and I will buy and stain/paint a piece of high quality plywood to replace it. The benches are comfortable; I bought a couple unfinished chairs for the ends and it comfortably seats 8 with the 2 end chairs...just in time for Thanksgiving. All in all it is what I expected for the $ except the top should be better quality. ... show more

Very poor quality for the price. For $2700, I didn't expect pressed wood with laminate and hollow legs. The mounting plates are held on with brads, so I can't move the table without compromising the integrity of the build. I had to reinforce those plates with wood screws and glue after one of them was broken off, but because the legs are hollow there isn't a lot for the screws to bite into. The laminate is coming off in a lot of spots, especially the table top. ... show more
