  • Tubing for a metal barn
I used this with my cordless circular saw cutting steel square tubing. I made said 50 cuts and it has no issue sailing through from the first to last cut. I would recommend this blade to anyone cutting box metal or conduit.

  • Cuts quickly but rough finish
I’ve never used a metal saw blade with carbide teeth for cutting metal before. I have always used the aluminum oxide type. However the aluminum oxide type seem to wear out fairly quickly. This blade with the carbide teeth cuts right through metal with no problem. The only difference I noticed is that the tin I was cutting was not as clean of a cut as with the aluminum oxide blade type that I have used before. That being said this blade gets the job done with ease. I would recommend. 4 stars only because the cut is not without burs. ... show more

  • Useful
7-1/4 Inch 48T Cermet Carbide Circular Saw Blade for Dry Cuts Variety of Mild Steel Profiles. I have actually used a standard carbide circular saw blade placed backwards on a Skil-saw to cut steel in the past. It was a trick I learned from an old carpenter for cutting roofing steel. I have also used the cutoff blades that are made for steel and masonry. The problem with those is that they wear down pretty quickly until there cannot be used at any depth. This blade fit perfectly on my circular saw. Again, be sure to put the painted lettering side inward with the cutting teeth pointing backwards. It does a great job of cutting all types of steel with minimal sparks. It may last longer than a standard carbide blade because it is made to run backwards, but I can’t say for sure yet. The price might be just a little high so 4 stars from me. ... show more

  • Super sharp saw blade!
This super sharp carbide circular blade is one of the best items I've ordered for my tool shed. It's simply amazing in its strength and durability. It will cut in any direction and it will cut anything from steel to iron pipe in any angle. The cutting action is smooth and cuts perfect every time. As soon as you open it and look at these menacing teeth you will know you have a high quality cutting blade. It's simply amazing. ... show more

  • Works
Either saw blades do their job or they dont. This one does its job well. Easily cut through the 2x6's I was using to frame in a raised hunting blind floor. I did have to flip the image to the back side in order to have proper blade rotation.

  • It's really kind of neat seeing this cut the metal the way it does.
This makes cutting steel out in the open (backyard) with so much less sparks than I get from my chop saw or grinder with a cutoff wheel. Having it in a skill saw also makes it very convenient to use. I made at least a dozen cuts tearing down a steel frame made from angle iron and it was a snap. I did start to see some slowing down on the last few cuts, but it was still sharp enough to not cause any concern. It's really kind of neat seeing this cut the metal the way it does. ... show more

  • Cuts metal with eaze
The media could not be loaded. I've used this blade on 2 projects so far. The first was thin metal roofing. It zipped right thru that metal with no problem at all. The second project involved cutting metal pipe for a fence gate to length. It cut thru the pipes like a hot knifes thru butter. Previously I used a hack saw or cut-off blade in my grinder. This cuts metal much quicker, more accurate and leaves a perfect finish at the cut. Tips: It does throw off metal chips which aren't very forgiving to your eye so make sure to wear safety glasses. Also, when cutting, especially thick metal, go slow and don't force it thru as this could damage the teeth on the blade (voice of experience with a previously used blade). ... show more

  • Excellent for Stock Prep in Limited Workshop
The media could not be loaded. JANCHI STORE’s 7-1/4-inch, 48-tooth, cermet carbide, metal cutting, circular saw blade offers an alternative way to cut mild steel and aluminum plates and profiles such as angle iron, instead of using an angle grinder. The arbor size is 5/8-inches and will fit most circular saws and many table saws. When you use the blade for the first time, take it slow. There is some sparking, but the blade cuts very well and fast. You should always wear eye protection. It works especially well on mild steel and aluminum plates. The video shows the blade cutting through a 1/2-inch mild steel bar, and the photos show the finish on both a 1/2-inch aluminum bar and the steel bar. My use is mainly cutting aluminum plates in the 1/8-inch range with the occasional steel project. It isn’t limited to that task, but it does do it nicely. Using a saw makes getting a straight edge easier than using an angle grinder. Also, the cut finish is very good. In my limited workshop, this allows me to prepare stock without issues. ... show more
