I received this item free as an Amazon Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only review items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review. I love to handwash and detail my SUV and I am always looking for quality tools to make it easier. I own, and have used, synthetic detailing and suede brushes. They work OK, but I was curious to see how the natural boars hair brushes would work comparatively. Out of the box I am very impressed with the look, feel and build quality of these brushes (pictured). The detailer brushes, in 5 different head sizes, and packed with bristles (how do you catch and shave a boar anyway?). I mention this because the synthetic brushes I have seem sparse on bristles compared to these. The more bristles make cleaning and dusting easier (pictured). I have not tried these wet, yet, but look forward to better cleaning wet too. The larger suede brush is what I really wanted as I have a ton of Alcantara leather in my SUV, the steering wheel, seats, headliner. I wasn’t happy with how the synthetic bristle brushes worked to clean these areas; I felt it was too aggressive. With this boars hair brush I was able to dust (pictured) and spot clean areas on the seat (pictured). These boars hair bristles clean very well without leaving the marks that the synthetic ones do. I am very pleased with the quality of these brushes, especially for the price. So happy, in fact, that my synthetic brushes just hit the trashcan. As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy these.

I've gone through a lot of scratchy synthetic brushes for detailing my vehicles. Some sets arrived with such coarse bristles I immediately vetoed their use on my leather interior. But this Deer Brook Shop 6pcs Detailing Brush Set for Interior and Exterior - Soft Boars Hair Car Detail Brushes - is an immediate "YES!" for adding to the detail gear. Soft but stiff enough to get the last of the french fry crumbs from the grooves of your seat. Handles are ergonomic, so if you get a little OCD like I do, you won't have a permanent hand cramp from extracting all that accumulates in your grooves. Works well with a small vac for quick jobs, and does a great job of pre-cleaning crumbs before you clean and balm your leather (which you should do if you want your leather interior to last!). The price point on this is incredible - really, really high quality for the investment, and you get quality brushes that will last for years. Will be getting more for my equally OCD friends to keep their cars looking spiffy! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

There is only 1 complaint I have of this. I'm not particularly sure how long the bristles will hold up as I have seen sets that seem like they would hold up much longer but for personal use for the average person? Works about as good as you would hope. Get yourself some sprays that are designed for the interior and exterior and go wild with this. I love the results I got.

I really like these brushes, the are high quality. I haven't used the big brush but the detail brushes are perfect for getting dirt loose in small areas. They are stiff and coarse enough to loosen the grime but gentle and pliable enough to not scratch or hurt the interior. Great addition to my car care supplies.

Im pretty picky on keeping my vehicle clean and have been detailing for 15+ years. Im always looking for great tools and products to help me and I came across these. I had some cheaper synthetic brushes and rarely used them because they were just that, cheap brushes and didnt work great. I just stuck to microfibers for wiping my interior. These are really nice brushes. Theres 5 brushes and and a suede brush and they are comfortable in the hand and easy to grip compared to my cheaper plastic handle ones (which are now in the trash). The boar hair is soft yet enough to get into the crevices if your vehicle and safe for piano black surfaces. For me, the true test of these was cleaning my vented leather seats that needed some attention, but microfiber cloths, and my cheap brushes just couldnt tackle and get in those small holes effectively. They were visibly better and were able to do the job that I couldnt achieve previously, so im super happy with these! Quality tools definitely make the job easier and these did just that.

First, this set of brushes is presented like a new Apple product. They are boxed like something costing many times more. So, a great first impression upon opening — think great present for a car enthusiast. But, how well do they work? They are wonderful in form and function. Where I used to use Q-Tips and microfiber towels for getting dust off of small, tight areas like around the instrument panel, radio, air vents. HVAC controls, shifter, console, etc., I now use these brushes. They come in various sizes with handles like a paintbrush for ease of use. For small crevices that seem to collect dust, they are great. Very portable, they are great, if you ever take your car to a car show, for last minute fine detailing. Currently, I am only using these for dusting duty on the interior of my car, not the exterior. Using them in that way, I can see them lasting almost indefinitely.

This is a great set of brushes for the price. They feel very quality and I like that they have plastic handles as opposed to wood ones so that they won't be absorbing chemicals and dirt when in use. The bristles seem secure inside the ferrule when I've had other cheaper ones have bristles fall out all of the time. The leather cleaning brush is also very nice. The perfect stiffness for cleaning leather seats and it works really well. For the price point, I am very impressed with these brushes overall.
