We have a small gas station/convenience store with parking in a fenced lot for people going to Mexico but who do not want to take their vehicle there. Our gates are heavy steel and over time have sagged from the weight and drag on the pavement. When somebody has to open the gate, they have to drag it back. I put this gate wheel on and boy did it make a difference. My employees don't seem to mind gate duty now. The wheel operates like it should and was easy to install.

This thing is hot garbage. Yes, the wheel is nice and the construction feels very heavy duty and solid BUT there is a design flaw in this thing that's pretty severe. The piston that the is attached to is much smaller than the hole in the bracket it sits in and so this wheel rocks back and forth as you operate it and gets bound up as it pivots.

Once installed the wheel wasn’t stable. After opening gate a little bit the bearings fell out. We ended up throwing it away because it was not usable. *** The above is my original posting. Upon review, the seller reached out to me and refunded my account and was very responsive to my situation. They are going to use my experience to make their product better. The customer service after the purchase was top notch and I appreciate their attentiveness to my situation. I will not be afraid to use this company again.

This wheel handles up to 600 pounds thanks to its high-temperature forged spring, making it solid enough for most wooden or metal gates.
