Nice moving from wood handles that rot to nice metal adjustable handles. We live in an oak grove and spend the fall raking like madmen. Tons of leaves fall and it is a big task to get them off of the lawn before they burn it. How many hours have I been on the other side of a rake? Lots. I like the metal adjustable rakes because they are springy and don't tend to break. I like that I can spread the tines out for lighter raking or in for heavier duty raking or smaller areas. This one doesn't open up as much as some I have bought in the past and that is okay as I really need a down and get it for the smaller spaces and to use to lift up piles into the trailer to haul (like a second hand). It is pretty tall when you have all the pieces put together so I will be taking out one for use as I am on the shorter side. It has plenty of handle for tall folks. Should last - seems well made. The cool thing about these rakes is you can move coals from one pile to the other to get it going using the metal rake. ... show more
