It took us about 4 afternoons only working a few hours each day with lots of breaks. BEWARE: FexEx initially delivered two boxes labeled "Box 2" and "Box 3". That is how we knew we were missing box before beginning assembly. Needed a larger L shaped standing desk. Selected this one for the size and added style of the gold and rattan look. Took a while to find the directions, and the boxes arrived at different times. We set out all the pieces in groups of 10 so we could easily grab pieces as we were building it in my smaller office. Ensure you put the power lifts facing the correct way, we had to go back and switch 1 of them the correct way. Took about 3 hours with 2 of us. Used an electric drill.     • Do not buy
Do not purchase. I almost bought two but thankfully ordered only one to see if it was good quality. The pieces were cracked and one of the metal drawer bars was the wrong piece. I requested a new side since that was the most noticeable crack and it took more than 2 weeks to ship. They couldn't find the part for the metal drawer so we just went to the hardware store because we needed to finish the project. Not knowing we wouldn't have what we needed to build the desk we took the desk we were replacing apart and threw it away so our front lobby of the office looked terrible for weeks while we waited on a replacement board.     • Very cheap feeling & looking
The desk comes in about 300+ different parts counting hardware. Took about 6 hours to put together. Thinner pressed paper type material. The one side is 3 different sections put together but doesnt really securely attached. It kept coming loose. The top section of this side is a solid piece so I thought that might help it feel mote sturdy but it doesn't. I was careful moving it cause it feels like it will break in half & does shift. Idk for $699 I just thought it would be sturdier. Very cheap feeling & looking for the price. I would return it if I could be there's no way I am taking it apart & lugging it back. It comes in 3 seperate boxes & the one weighs 60.2 kg (apprx 133 pounds). Also the whole desk has smudges here & there that will not wipe off. Very disappointed with this desk. ... show more

Assembly did take several hours. It is sturdy and very cute. I was looking for a space that could help me organize a little better and so far it’s great! I did get concerned after I bought because I saw the ratings go down, but I’m glad I purchased. It came quickly too!

Great desk! Was a little worried after I bought it, as I saw the reviews went down (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐). Wish it had a lock for filing cabinet and that it was reversible. But it was a good purchase. I'm excited to buy the bookcases and long filing cabinet 😊
