The tie is pretty nice. I didn’t realize it was silk, but it looks nice and the sewing is well done. The backing could be slightly thicker but it is thick enough to hold its form. I like that the corner is tight. I never like ties that don’t have perfect angles. The tie is good. But the handkerchief is mediocre. There is no backing on it and the corners are straight corners, not angled corners (mitered) like the nice tie. One of the handkerchief edges is not hemmed very well, it is a single fold hem. No backing, mediocre hem and straight corners. Not nearly as nice quality as the tie. If you don’t use handkerchiefs then this tie is nice: 4.5 stars. But if you use handkerchiefs then this one might disappoint: 3stars. ... show more

Burgundy happens to be my favorite color, and I really like this tie. The extra length is really nice as I have a thicker neck and typical ties are just a little too short - especially when I tie a double knot (which I prefer as they remain symmetrical). This tie still has plenty of length when tied the way I like. The tie bar that it comes with is a nice touch, and I'm glad to add it to my collection. Pretty nice tie, especially for the price. I mean, you're not going to get a $100 silk tie look for $20. But for that price it's a nice vibrant color, the size of perfect. If it's about any length you need it to. It's a great feel, great look, I really am impressed with the quality.

The tie is definitely long enough for someone tall, and the striped pattern looks very sharp in person. The fabric has a nice weight to it and doesn't wrinkle easily. I’m a fan of the tie clip too. Nice set with a tie, pocket square and tie bar. It is extra long - long enough for a man that’s 6’8”. The fabric has some texture to it. The color options are nice. This is not a clip on tie, it’s the long (tie yourself) tie. It appears well made, not cheap looking at all. The tie bar is nice too.
