My 2010 Honda's headliner finally started to droop in the front and back after all the intense temperatures throughout the years. I read and saw videos of people using a spray upholstery glue as a headliner fix, only for the glue to cause staining and not holding up after a few weeks (new glue on top of old glue doesn't work long term). After doing more research, upholstery pins was the #1 choice from a DIY perspective as far as longevity. These were easy to install, are stable and the color matches my beige interior. I measured and marked - so it took about 2 hours in total to install but the measurement part was worth it. IF I need any more in the future, I'll definitely repurchase. ... show more

My son's Hyundai had the roof liner starting to come off and peel back at the front and back areas. This is due to the high heat over years in Houston. In the past I have done a repair with upholstery glue but this looked unsightly and stained the fabric. The correct and best way to make the repair is to completely remove the headliner, strip everything, glue new fabric, and reinstall. There are many great videos on youtube on how to do this. To have it done professionally is expensive and probably not worth it for an older car. This kit works great in that it allows you to screw grommets into the foam and stop the fabric from peeling back. I find it looks better without the fabric buttons. This works great. Installed 60 this morning to secure the headliner. Glued it with 3M stuff last fall and it was good for 6-8 months but windows open caused headliner to drop down again. This fix appears to work well. Time will tell but happy for a $10 fix. Easy to do.

I had a sagging headliner. Tried adhesive. made a mess and did not hold, tried a super glue YouTube idea. Didn't work and left spots. Finally bought these and worked great, can't even notice them and if you pattern them nicely, looks great. Should have done this from the beginning and would have saved to hassle of pulling out the liner then tucking it back in again. Would have looked better and I would have saved a ton of time and money. Adhesive $20, super glue $5, needles $5. Roof headliner kit, less than $10 and I still have left over. Live and learn. I installed some of the kit into my 2008 Honda Ridgeline's ceiling and is holding up well. Snaps can be a little difficult to enable but once in place they seem to hold well. Installing the holding portion of the snap was not difficult but you need to be careful not to over torque the screw or it will strip out of the headliner baseboard. ... show more

I can’t believe how well these things worked pretty decent for the price and you get so many and all the tools you could possibly need. The color actually seem to match too if you have the liner of the of your car ceiling coming down or any parts of the fabric kind of just flapping around in the wind you just pick the spot by using either the tape measure or just random wherever you want it if you don’t care about how perfect it is and you screw the screw Into the flapping area after tucking it to where you want it to stay and then simply pop one of the fabric caps on. I feel like they could work just about anywhere even on the doors etc. maybe even on a couch honestly. These are a great cheap way to make your car. Look a little bit better if it’s starting to get old, plus it keeps obnoxious glue and foam from underneath the fabric from like flying around in the car and getting in your mouth.
