Yes, it was easy to put together and YES it took about an hour to get it assembled. The Stability and Durability seem to be something that I won't have to worry about. Go to your nearest Do It Yourself outlet such as Lowe's or Home Depot and get 3 Cinder blocks. Put one on each side of the slide to hold it down.. Oh did I say 3 blocks, put one cinder block under the slide itself so that it will not flex on you....It will make it very sturdy. On the water hose, just barely turn on the water to make the water touch the slide as far up as you can to make sure it get slick enough. But you will slide pretty fast for the short ride. Now the reason for 4 stars, previous reviews said that it will hurt your back when you come off the slide. Well, this guy went down it for a test run, and YEP, it hurt my back......My suggestions are these. 1. Put the slide on the deep end of the pool. Tell your kids and grandkids not to lay flat when you slide down. Stay in a seated position and when you feel yourself coming off the slide, point your legs in a downward position so that you are in a seated or upright position. This will help alleviate landing on your back which admittedly was a little painful. 2. Make sure the lip of the slide hangs over the wall of the pool about a foot so that you make sure your kids and grandkids will not hit their head coming off the slide.....My overhang is about 6 to 8 inches....(see pictures). All of my grandkids will be visiting soon at one time, so that will be the real test to see how it does, but I think it's going to do ok..... ... show more

So, company kept quoting Amazons returns policies on why you could not refund me the full amount of my purchase. I call Amazon and explain the details of how they were treating me. Poor design. The bottom of the slide has a weird hump and flat combo, so everytime my son slides down it he hits his bottom really hard and says it hurts. We’ve tried changing the angle of it and more or less water but it just has a design flaw. I suggest getting a different product. We did the inflatable slide last year for the pool and it is big and lasted one year, it got a hole, but my son loved it. ... show more

So I think this is a great slide for my 4-year-old. The hose connection was good. Very sensitive of water pressure though you could really spray water all over the place if you're not careful.
