This hanging file organizer works pretty well. There is no assembly necessary, and it comes with all of the required hardware to hang it. It seems nice and sturdy and looks nice hanging on the wall. It's nice that it doesn't take up any desk space. I went from a set of stacked trays on my desk to this because I needed the desk space for a new printer. It works ok but not was well as a tray if you have a couple of papers to add at a time. I feel like, because of the angle of the dividers, you're better off putting a folder or something a little sturdier in the slots because a single sheet of paper wants to curl and lays oddly. I stacked my papers so that there would be a folder under them. It's just not quite as convenient as I had hoped and kinda miss my stack of trays. That's probably a personal preference, though. The organizer has a spot where you can label each slot, but no labels were included with the product. I found that to be disappointing. ... show more

I got this organizer to keep next to our mail slot so that I can sort the mail for me / wife / other. There's a good amount of room in each slot and it does what I need very well. I have not used the adhesive strips to try to attach it to a wall, I just have it standing free on the table near the mail slot. ... show more

I was in the fence about what star level to offer…. There are pros and cons with this item, and some pros are cons and visa versa. It is compact and lightweight … but also makes it limited and unstable. The file sections are limited in what they can hold, ie more than one spiral notebook can be a challenge, but a couple file folders with limited contents are ok, Because it is tall is also is not terribly stable, so needs some method of securing it - which would involve screwing into a wall or getting some weights to give it something to hold it down and not flop over. So if you can secure it, and you have just small items to sort and access, this could work for you.. so this is a maybe iffy recommendation … I am trying to figure out some function for myself ... show more
