My kids begged me to get these after their school friend had one that he wouldn’t share. They are like kid magnets. I found myself momentarily mesmerized also. There’s something about the movement of the objects in the water that’s quite soothing. I actually got whole minutes of quiet while they played with these. These were not as sturdy as the ones I had for my kids. These were for my grandkids. I loved to play with them too! Quality isn't as good but these are smaller than the ones back in the 80s/90s. Still fun though. Plug fell inside one and mom couldn't get it out so after a couple days it was done for.

Horrible product very poorly made. I couldn’t get the caps off of two of them to put water in them and the others leaked water all over. I would send them back but threw the leakers away. The package said there was 4, I received 6 in the package so that was a surprise. They were much smaller than I thought for the money, definitely WAY overpriced. I would not buy them again or recommend them at all.
