Extremely lightweight, but seem sturdy enough. The handles aren't actually wood as I originally thought, but some kind of hard plastic with a wood grain effect. The needle part doesn't seem to be metal either and extremely blunt (which is a good thing) The feeding needles are about four finger long (shown in the pics) and they are all the same size. Although, this doesn't come with any instructions. This was not an issue (for me), as there are plenty of "How-To" videos on YouTube... They're VERY EASY TO USE!!! They're very durable and will pay for themselves within the first use.
