I used these while installing 1" thick pvc deck boards. These worked very well and are accurately sized. I measured the 1/4" thickness with a caliper and found them to be .256 inches thick, so only 6/1000th off. My caliper might be off by that much. They quantity of 6 was plenty for me. I did not have any trouble pulling them out from between the boards after they were fastened down. I also found it useful to put a piece of electrical tape on the side opposite of the one I was using to help ensure that I didn't accidently use the wrong size here and there. ... show more

These work as they should....wish they were a little cheaper and/or they included more of them in a pack. Oh well, had to have them to make sure the boards fit. Well made and they save time in long run taking a lot of guess work out of the project.
