Just be aware this doesn't come with any backing, the canvases themselves are sturdy enough and you can easily paint on them without it. They come folded together in a basic plastic bag. 35 years and I’ve never done a paint-by-numbers! I was so excited to get this set because I love painting but haven’t had the focus to start anything from scratch recently. This set is packaged such that you can either keep all of the paintings for yourself, or split them up among friends. There is a canvas for each artwork, pre-printed with numbered and outlined sections. The canvas also has a margin to accommodate for stretching it onto a wood frame. Each artwork also comes with a paper copy of the numbered outlines, which at first seemed unnecessary but turned out to be extremely useful when I went back to do additional layers on already-painted sections. Then there is a packet for each artwork which contains little labeled paint pots for each necessary color, a color reference for the artwork (which may also be a sticker?), and a set of 3 paintbrushes. So far I’m partway through my first artwork in the set - don’t be fooled, this is not a short term project. Starting with the lightest colors, I’ve already done about 3 or 4 layers in each section in order to adequately cover up the number labels. I may add a couple more if I feel up for it. Despite it being a slow project, it’s also given me the opportunity to slow down and do something that doesn’t require digital screens. Fantastic, considering that even drawing or painting thesedays usually involves me pulling up references or color swatches on my iPad. This is a great way to have a digital detox and just enjoy a meditative activity for once. Keep them all for yourself or invite friends over to join in! ... show more

These are AI generated images but whoever designed this paint by number set knows how to make sure the result looks good. So far it looks just like the reference photo. I really like the bright colors. The colors are correct and the paint is good. It does take multiple coats in some areas like the light yellow and off white. This is normal for a paint by number kit and I always plan on multiple coats. The brushes they come with the kits are fine but not super high quality. You can complete the painting with them but it’s so much nicer with your own brushes. ... show more

Very beautiful paint by number. The picture is clear and the numbers are easy to read. The paints are bright, vibrant and a nice consistency. I don't typically use the brushes that come with these kits as I have my own, but as to be expected, they are not the greatest quality. This was sooooo much fun to paint! The gorgeous seaside view was breathtaking and the color super vibrant! This was probably my favorite of as least twenty something paintings I have done so far! Highly recommended
