  • Works as Expected
Number of Items: 6
I used them to extend ethernet and also used some with PWAY HDMI-Over-Ethernet adapters. They work as expected in both applications. I have nothing negative to say about them. They look nice and feel well-built. The outside is cased in metal so they are compatible with shielded CAT 7&8 cables.

  • A quality ethernet coupler that works without errors.
Number of Items: 6
Not a whole lot to say about a simple item like this. Connects two ethernet cable together to make a longer combined one. I've used a couple in the pack already and have not issue and it has not caused any errors.

  • I needed one coupler… I bought six!
Number of Items: 6
I got this six pack because it wasn’t that much more money than coupler one or two packs, plus these had pretty good reviews. As stated, I only needed one, for now, and it’s working fine. But this way should I need another coupler in the future I am ready. Couplers are cheaper than cables. These are supposed to be cat7, which means they are shielded and 10gig capable. Seems to be aluminum shell over a plastic case. Gold plated connector wires are a nice touch. ... show more

  • Works great, without any performance drop
Number of Items: 6
My home network is kind of a mess. I've got cat6 network cables running up and down the hallway and in and out of rooms to make sure everyone is connected. Occasionally the cables get chewed by one of our dogs or pinched in a door and need repair. In the past my solution was to add RJ45s where the cable split and connect them by joining two female wall plates. Not ideal, but it got the job done. These couplers have been a much better solution. Ran several ping tests to check for packet loss and speed between the coupler and my janky wall plate solution and found no drop in performance using the couplers. In fact, a few tests showed the coupler delivering packets a teeny bit faster. Definitely would recommend having a few of these in your network kit. ... show more

  • Excellent

This review is for: FGB 6-Pack Cat7 RJ45 Shielded Ethernet Coupler, Extender Adapter Female to Female RJ45 Connector My house was built in the '50s. Well I do have a nice Wi-Fi 7 system setup that reaches about everywhere on my property, still wanted hardwired ethernet and every room of my house for the best possible connection, when ethernet is an option. I've been running ethernet through my crawlspace. I keep finding all sorts of things I need for this project, including couplers. I grabbed this pack and have already used it up. Will likely have to get more. They are working well. Good solid connection and seem to be quite reliable. Price seems pretty fair for this pack. ... show more

  • Good for all Your Home Networking Needs
Number of Items: 6
If you're like me, you've amassed various networking cables from CAT 5 to CAT 8 throughout the years, occasionally needing to piece them together to reach desired network destinations. Recently, I encountered an issue where a CAT 8 cable fell short of reaching the switch, necessitating its connection to a suitable length of CAT 5e cable I had on hand. To start, the connector functions as a pass-through and isn't picky about the cable generation you link to it. However, its throughput is capped by the oldest cable generation in use and generally not a problem with the connector. Until you reach CAT 8 throughput that is. The connector and its shielding are rated for up to CAT 7 speeds, for critical CAT 8 networks, considering a more shielded CAT 8-rated connector to ensure optimal speeds and distance for your cabling. Personally, on my gigabit home network, I haven't encountered any issues. Sometimes, settling for 'good enough' proves better than pursuing 'the best' for your network infrastructure. Additionally, given the price point, these connectors offer excellent value. Keep in mind that these connectors are only rated for indoor use. The gold-plated pins are corrosion-resistant, ensuring a reliable network setup for years without intervention. Visually, the connectors appear as raw metal and may not have the most appealing appearance. However, if you're handy, applying paint or an RTV coating could enhance their look. My plan involves gluing a rare Earth magnet to ensure it stays in place when I have to do some network rewiring. Overall, I'm quite happy with these connectors. They're affordable for the quantity provided and deliver high performance up to CAT 7 speeds. ... show more

  • Good so far.

Good so far. Be aware these have sharp corners that could probably be finished better. But they are not for looks, only for connecting cables. I'll update this review later if appropriate.

  • Works great!

I rewired my entire house with Ethernet cables and need a quick and cheap solution to connect multiple cables together in the attic. Will report back how these handle the heat in the summer but so far they are stable, reliable, and sturdy!
