I just used these last weekend and they work great!. Just insert it in between the strands in your outdoor rug and hammer down. These allow me to stretch the mat tight and are low enough profile that you don't even notice them there! To pull out, put a hammer under the mat and pry upward. You should be able to get it out easily. Highly recommend these over putting heavy objects on top of the rug/mat.

I have been searching for quite some time to find outdoor rug stakes that did not cost a fortune. I have several rugs to secure and the most popular option can get a bit pricey when ordering 40 or so. I tried other products but the washers were always way too small and a return was required. That is until I found these. They are perfect and will definitely be ordering more now that I see how well they work. Sturdy enough to drive into my hard Texas soil (that's what happens without rain) and the washer is larger enough to finish the job. I will be ordering more and would certainly recommend the purchase at a good price point.

Our prior outdoor rug lasted about 7-8 months and I think it was because I pulled the corners very tight placing a lot of stress on these rugs which are great dirt overlays. These stakes are strong but gentler for the rugs. Working like a nail they are simpler to drive in the ground than the 90 degree hook type stationing devices.
