I ordered this to cut hardie cement boards and this blade does the job. It cuts quickly and easily through them and seemed to me to have a lot less dust than the other non-fiber cement blade I had installed. I used this on a 7 1/4" cutoff saw but it had no issues on the saw with cutting. There are only 4 teeth on this blade, but that is consistent with fiber cement blades. There was a little residue on one side of the plank once it was cut but a simple rub across it knocked that off and there was no visible remnants or chips. This blade is a little cheaper than the ones in the hardware/wood supply stores and if you can wait it will save you a little money for basically the same blade. ... show more

Was skeptical about saw blades that were not a well known name brand. I thought I was paying for the quality.... turns out, I might have been paying for that fancy name. This blade had been on my DeWalt 20v circular saw for over a week... heavy daily use on a jobsite... see pics #1 and #2... We're build 4 large Air B&B / Ski Lodge rentals. I've been using this blade to make cuts away from the cutting station, and cutouts for windows. So far, I am impressed. It delivers nice clean cuts comparable to the diablo blades I was getting from the local big box Home D store. The cuts have smooth edges. I've also used this blade to cut the much thicker Hardie Board corner trim and even a few 2x4's when I was in a hurry and didn't want to walk 50 yards to get the other saw. For the money... this is a great deal.... a really good blade that's held up to daily jobsite use and abuse. ... show more

    • Great blade for Hardie Board
If you are making more than a couple of small cuts on Hardie board, you will definitely need a special blade. This one does the job great. It is made for a smaller saw like the battery operated portable ones which is what I wanted to use on my newest project anyway. It cuts just fine and I was able to make about a dozen cuts both lengthwise and across on some Hardie siding as well as cross cuts on some trim pieces without any issues. It didn't seem to make too much dust either, but that is relative as this material makes a lot of dust when cutting no matter what you use. The saw blade looks/feels exactly as described. It is 6 1/2" with a 5/8" arbor. 4T. Says good for Fiber Cement Products, description says also good for laminate flooring. Got this for a HP lap siding project in a couple months. Will update after use the blade. The blade itself seems to be well manufactured, nicely labeled - good attention to detail. The 6-1/2 Inch 4T PCD Tip Hardie Fiber Cement Circular Saw Blade made cutting through fiber cement a breeze during my outdoor kitchen construction, delivering precise and efficient results. One blade cut through many sheets of cement board and plenty of life still left. Decent product for sure.

This is a good, heavy duty blade, essential for cutting cement backer board. It appears and feels to be high quality, though of course the only way to know how it will stand up over time is to use it for a long time.
