Good canvas for hobbyist, holds paint well. We use only acrylics, so not sure about other paints, such as watercolors or oils. Good value for the beginner or hobbyist. Can paint over, but depending on the number of layers prior, some will show through. Recommended. The box of 36 11x14 canvas panels is $39.99 enabling our students to buy their workshop panels for an inexpensive $1.00 each. The panels seem to be carefully prepared with the assembly and the primer coating.

Great little canvases, just as described. The mdf core prevents warping that commonly occurs with cardboard cores. Lots of tooth in the white gesso cover. Clean and well made. Dimensions vary by about 1/16" or less so I can arrange them for a checkerboard design.
