  • One of the better quality trellises.
Set name: Trellis
A breeze to put together. Seems sturdy enough. Going to try growing a smaller hybrid cantaloupe.

  • Very tall, perfect for cukes
Set name: Trellis
This trellis is made from those metal poles that are covered in a green plastic. It’s the typical garden trellis poles you’d typically expect with plastic connectors. It says not to use with pumpkins or melons but I definitely will use it with a small pumpkin or small melon variety. It will hold up I think. Perfect for cucumbers for sure though! It’s very tall and decently wide. I didn’t pay attention to dimensions as much as I should have but it worked out great because of the size of this thing. It’s so tall and long you can get a lot of surface area for the vines to be guided up. I put this in my 8x4 bed and it is the perfect size for that type of bed (standard bed size). Depending on the plant you could plant 4-8 vines up this trellis. That’s a space saver! I should totally get one more for my other side of the garden. When putting it together it feels very unstable and flimsy but once it’s all connected and you push it all in tight it very very sturdy. Again I totally think it will hold small to med squashes, melons, and small pumpkins. It doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere. It took about 20 mins for me to build by myself and I'm 22 weeks pregnant lol so if I can do it in 20 you can probably do it even faster. It was very easy to assemble even though it doesn’t have like detailed instructions. Good price point for what you get and very spacious and perfect for conserving space and getting fruits off the floor. For picture reference I’m 5’8 and that’s how tall it is when put in my one foot deep raised bed. When assembling the top curved parts, the longer side of the L pole connects to the top and the shorter side goes down to connect with the rest of the trellis. Hopefully that info helped you because I was slightly confused on the top part lol I included pictures for reference on that as well. ... show more

  • Solid First Impression, Assembly Straightforward
Set name: Trellis+Bag
TL;DR: Assembled this trellis kit and inspected all components. Build quality looks solid, assembly was straightforward (about 15 minutes), and everything matches the listing. The metal frame feels sturdy and the fabric grow bag is thick material. I haven't grown plants in it yet, so I can't verify how well it supports mature vines or how the weatherproof coating holds up, but the initial impression is positive for anyone wanting a clean vertical growing solution. I put this cucumber trellis kit together to prepare for the growing season, and the assembly process was genuinely tool-free as advertised. It took me about 15 minutes working at a normal pace. The connectors require firm pressure to get the poles seated properly, which actually reassured me because a tight fit means better stability. My mom initially thought we'd need a hammer, but with both hands applying steady pressure, each pole clicked into place. No wobbling, no quality concerns once assembled. The house-shaped frame is stable and lightweight when empty. The dimensions match what's listed (50"L x 17"W x 65"H for the trellis structure). It has a clean, organized look that I think would work especially well for apartment balconies or anyone wanting to maximize vertical space without the setup looking cluttered. The grow bag is made from thick fabric material, not flimsy at all. The listing says it's non-woven fabric for breathability and drainage, which sounds right based on how it feels. Since this is my first time using fabric containers instead of solid plastic or wood, I can't predict how many years it'll last. My guess would be 3-5 years, but that's just speculation. The upside is that even if the bag eventually wears out, the metal trellis frame has standalone value for other raised beds or containers. All the support accessories are included: twist ties, plant zip ties, and plant clips. Everything needed to train climbing vines is in the box, along with gloves and detailed instructions. Who this is for: Anyone growing vertical plants like beans, peas, tomatoes, or grapes. Good option for balcony gardening or tight spaces where you want a tidy vertical setup. The kit approach means you don't have to hunt down separate trellis netting, ties, and containers. Who may want to skip: If you strongly prefer solid containers (rigid plastic or wood) over fabric grow bags, you might want to just buy the trellis frame separately and use your own container. Also, if you need something proven through multiple growing seasons, there's not enough long-term data here yet. What I haven't tested yet: I haven't actually grown plants in this, so I can't verify how the structure holds up under the weight of mature vines loaded with vegetables. I'm planning to use this for beans or grapes this season. The assembly was easy, the materials feel solid during inspection, and the price seems fair for what you get in the complete kit. Just being transparent that this review reflects setup and inspection, not a full growing season of use. ... show more
