The bulbs are only 18 inches apart which is really nice, they are smaller bulbs than other sets but perfect for under a patio or in a wedding tent as we will be using them for. Dropped them a couple times, no breakage. No complaints.

These lights are great! It's a shame a photo doesn't do it justice - the lights have a hard plastic (solid) bubbly/champagne internal texture that looks great in person when lit. I ordered two - one for my living room, and one for my bedroom as additional lighting. Not only are the LED strands more efficient (i.e. less expensive for my electric bill, comes out to about $3/yr if I ran them 24/7), they throw some great warm lighting around my room. For LEDs, they don’t look cold, and I love switching between "Christmas" lights (colored) and "Regular" lights (white). The included remote works well, and I can use the same remote for multiple strands of this type. I would order these again if I was going to put up a Christmas tree. Fair warning, since the balls are a solid hard plastic, they are heavier than an LED strand with just the lights. Should be obvious, but fyi, something to keep in mind. You'll need a stronger command hook (>1lb rating) for the corners of a room, if you hang them around the perimeter of your room like I did. ... show more

Great lights. Only downfall is instructions for timer on remote. I just turned them on & off with remote, since timer setting was a mystery to me.
