I'd been using similar water bottles to this one for about 20 years, just for workouts. Wasn't looking for any name brands, or enhanced dispeners.... just one that worked when I tipped it back to drink during my workout. This pair of bottles fit the bill. They are shaped the same as previous ones, easy to hold and fill, and drink from. Interestingly, the "finish" on the top, the threaded area, is somewhat different from the other bottles I have used, so I can't mix the tops from my old bottles, but these bottles are leak proof, and do the job perfectly, at a reasonable price.

I know,it's a water bottle what could possibly say. Well actually a lot. I've read all the reviews before my final purchase and thank you all for your comments. Very helpfull. Once received I placed both bottles in the dish washer for a good pre use cleaning. This seemed to remove the smell some complained about . Next I filled the bottles with water and checked for leaks . None were noticed. The cap valve is easy to use and seals completely. What sets this bottle appart from others I've tried is the cap design. If you look closely at the underside of the cap you will notice a straw reciptle that is built in. Why would this be important. I have two bottle holders mounted on my handle bars. Having to remove the bottle to drink is not convenient. What works better is a straw that is built into the bottle. Lean forward ,drink and be done with it with out compromising bike control. With the use of a die grinder drill out the cap at the raised location under the cap being carefully not to go to big damaging the raised straw support. Next go to the hardware store and purchase a length of 7/16 OD clear vinyl flex hose. Cut the hose to length and insert into the cap. The push pull valve is now a vent valve. The valve must be pulled open when using the straw. Once modified with the help of the built in straw support everything appears as if it came from the factory that way. I have recently ordered two more bottles and plan on mounting them behind my seat for those long hot summer rides. Nice well built and highly functional water bottles.

These are decent water bottles. I bought them for my kids for summer camp. They are large enough to hold a good bit of water. The top is wide enough to easily fill with ice and clean, and they are easy for my 6 & 8 year old to use. They do not leak, either. My only complaint is that the lid is not as full proof as I’d like. I bought 4 and two of the lids have broken already when my kids dropped the bottle. Granted, it was their fault for dropping the bottle- but they didn’t throw it or drop it from large heights (so they say), so I would hope the lid would be more durable. Either way, they are low cost and good in a pinch.

I bought these for my bike, it fits in the holder perfectly. The plastic is pretty thick and durable! I’ve dropped it going pretty fast on the road and had no leaking and did not break! It’s summer so the water obviously gets warm quickly, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s a great quality and am extremely happy with my purchase. The only thing I have noticed is when I squeeze the water into my mouth, I’ll often get a giant air bubble and I’ll choke on the air for a bit so I’ve had to start drinking my water more slowly.

Wake up people. You are looking for a container that holds a liquid to drink at the gym. You don’t need anything fancy. You don’t need a special color. You don’t need a massive bottle since every gym has a water fountain. A water bottle doesn’t improve your social status. You are at the gym to workout. I bought 2 name brand squeeze bottles before these at twice the cost thinking they would be the right quality, but they leaked and cracked in under a year. Then I got these. Bought the pack of 2 clear bottles at half the cost of one name brand bottle. Both don’t leak when I tilt them on their side and they hold up like they should. It has been about 1 year and still using the first bottle. Edit: 1 year after posting this review and I lost the first bottle. Using the second one now. When you open the nozzle to drink from it, a tiny bit of water seeps through the bottom of the nozzle and might dribble down your chin when you drink from it. I personally don’t care. Still better than the other pieces of junk I’ve bought.

With my wife, three kids, and myself being avid recreational bicycling and occasional "bikepacking" fans we have had many water bottles if many types. We have a dozen or more of these "Be 50 Strong" (I have no idea where name came from) standard water bottles. We've had some for five years of a lot of use. The lids don't leak. The bottles have a moderately wide mouth so one can easily put in ice cubes. Indeed the bottles flexible enough to repeatedly fully or partially freeze. The lid design is simple enough, without complex channels or tubes, to easily well clean.
