This shelf is so much more solid than I expected! I’m not afraid to have books and my tea set on it. My cast iron is even on the bottom shelf! The wood grain look of the shelves are all different, so it doesn’t look like a cookie cutter sticker. I like the little feet at the bottom for adjusting if your floor isn’t completely even. It even came with a little screw driver so I didn’t have to dig through the garage to put it together! I’m just so impressed with this shelf! It’s given me some inspiration to keep redecorating. I wish my bathroom was bigger because I would love to stick one of these in there. So, just buy this thing already, you won’t regret it! ... show more

This is exactly what I was looking for, something that was simplistic and modern. The shelving seems really sturdy and looks very nice which will compliment the other furniture in my study. I really love the color of the wood and can't wait to start filling it up with decorations. The braces in the back seem to provide additional support which makes it seem a lot more solid than other similar bookshelves. I was expecting to spend much more for this type of furniture but was very pleased with what I got for the price. It was fairly easy to put together and didn't take much time. The kit comes with a screw driver, but I recommend using one from your toolbox as it will provide more leverage as the screws fit quite snuggly. I would say that's a good thing though as it show's it won't fall apart! ... show more

Was very nervous only because my hubs has a lot of books. But after a couple weeks no issues, no sign of it being anything but sturdy. We got two of them and it fit 5 out of 7 of his totes of books. Love the style and it is cat approved. The kitten climbed it and didn't scratch it and it did not move at all... We do plain on buying a 3rd. Best part for my hubs is no tiny screws ! ... show more

I really like this book case. Directs were easy to read and it was easy to put together, probably took about 20 mins or so. It came with stuff to anchor it to the wall if need me. I didn’t anchor it.. its not very wobbly. I tried to even out heavy stuff to keep it more stable. I thought it was a little taller abs wider, but I’m happy with the size. They are sturdy, good-looking, workhorse bookshelves. Exactly what I was looking for. I saw a few others that were more dramatically stylish with thicker shelves, but I just needed something to get my library out of boxes! These held more books in the same amount of floor space. We are very pleased with our purchase. One tip: On assembly, skip the first step of putting the top and bottom metal frame parts together until after you have attached the wood shelves to each part. This was better than expected. Looks good and feels very sturdy. Husband put it together in about 20 minutes. He was pleased to find all the screws and wall anchor were included. It came with its own screwdriver. The holes were drilled and aligned correctly. The shelves look like wood, nice dark color and should hold up. Feet adjustable to allow for any flooring unevenness. This was easy to assemble and is sturdy not like the cheaper particle board shelves. It fits in tight places because it is not that wide which is what I wanted. Looks nice also, not like the junk particle board shelves.
