Description

Each roof boot fits a range of sizes. Scroll through the 5 STEPS BELOW to assure you're getting the right fit. Measure for the outside diameter (O.D.) of the pipe. Get an accurate reading with a tape measure. Note the widest part of the hole in the roof. Use measurements in steps 1 & 2 to get the right boot. Using a knife, cut a hole to match the pipe's outside diameter—size ranges are marked on the boot. The boot should now fit tightly over the pipe. Slide down until the base contacts the roof, covering the hole. We have ordered this roof cover twice. The picture shows it as a sealed rubber gasket. However, the top has an opening in it- like for a pipe to go through. We need one that is solid- no openings. The picture shows it without a hole

Did not properly secure to the metal roof. Requires lots of additional sealant to keep rain out and even then, leaks happen.
