These are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. I have problems with my feet. These socks fit great, not too tight. They keep my feet warm, but not to the point of sweating. I highly recommend them!

I doubt that the amount of wool claimed to be in these socks is accurate, if there is any wool it's a small percentage. I got these socks to wear with my leather Chelsea boots. The socks are not what I would call thin, there's a comfortable amount of material, but they aren't overly thick or bulky, which is perfect for the boots I planned to wear them with, as the boots are a bit snug with no room for bulky socks. I like that these socks are thicker at the top of the tube, which is where the edge of the leather boots tends to rub on my lower calf. So the extra padding in that area is nice. I haven't worn them in temps below 40* F so I can't say how warm they are for prolonged periods in freezing weather. But they have been perfect for a late-autumn season. I will say they tend to get lumps and pills where my boots rub the most on them. I use a fabric shaver when the pills get too ugly or annoying and then the socks look fine again. But eventually they will probably wear out in the areas where my boots rub them a lot. They stay pretty soft even though I wash them in the machine with the rest of my clothes and don't take special care of them. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product but wish there was a higher percentage of wool in the blend. ... show more

My better half always complains that are feet are cold especially during the winter and I put an end to that! She loves the first one so much that I bought her a second pack so she doesn't have to be washing them out all the time she can wait until she does her laundry and wash them all at once. These socks are really warm and soft. A little hard to get on and tight trying to get your heel in, but once in, they fit comfy. They are not knee hi’s and come right above the ankles. Nice colors too.

I love the fact there are two sizes and not a one-size-fits-all. I have size 10 feet and the one-size or 9-11 sized socks do not properly fit, and in turn never last. They are too short, which cause me to stretch them to fit the heel of the sock around the heel of my foot and ultimately causing the sock to rip. These Loretta Wool Large socks actually fit perfectly! The picture has a 9-11 pink sock overtop of the Loretta Wool Large sock and you can see it's slightly longer, with the heels even. The Loretta socks are comfortable and I feel they will last a lot longer than the 9-11 socks I bought last year, most of which already got holes in the heels and had to be thrown away. These wool socks are soft, not as warm as I'd like but nothing seems to be warm enough for me. So far they've held shape and size even through the drier. ... show more
