These are genius and I'll tell you why! Backstory: I am the occasional gardener... I started a few years ago and did it for 2 years, then took 2 years off, etc. I collected a bunch of junk that sat in our backyard and drove my husband crazy. I had a raised wooden garden bed that you could move, but once it had dirt it in, you could NOT move it AND it was WAY too shallow for the types of foods I wanted to grow. So, I got these grow bags. 1. These things are easy for me to move even with dirt in them! Why? Because I wont kill the grass if I am moving them around. Also, I live in a state that gets ridiculously hot during the summer and WILL kill your crops, so being able to move these to the shade if needed is very important!! I can move them wherever I please! 2. Drainage is great! You give your plants a good soak and the roots don't just rot in the water! 3. They're deep enough to grow tomato plants, zuchini/squash, canteloupe, pumpkins, etc in them! I can even fit tomato cages, etc in them (I put tomato cages upside down for my zuchini/squash and my melons, etc). 4. You can keep your plants seperated and not on top of each other. In the south (where I live) we get powdery mildew and that can spread super quick if your crops are too close together. This way, I can keep plants separated and keep diseases from spreading. 5. You decided to take a break for 2 years? You can just toss these in the trash when you're finished with them and get new ones when you're ready to start over again! 6. They're way more affordable than raised garden beds or permanent planters! The only disadvantage I could see to these is that they do not hold up well over a few years (in my wet, hot and humid climate), but that is something I already knew and have accepted. SO, whether you're a novice starting out or a sometimes gardener, these are EXACTLY what you need.

Nice heavy gauge bag materials with a slightly lower wider profile than many of my other bags. Great for taller plants that tend to tip over easily and don’t have deep tap root structure. I planted blueberries and blackberries in these as well as a couple bags of chitter potatoes with great success so far. Durable handles hold up well under full load weed hitch is important to me since I have a small rotating garden and tend to move pots frequently. Definitely heavier duty than my standard go to bags at roughly the same price if not just marginally more. Very satisfied with this grow bag. My grading scale My ratings are based on one or more of the following characteristics. I live in a small apartment with a patio and a little patch of yard, and every spring and summer, I like to grow vegetables and herbs. I am always looking for better ways to set up my garden, and while I have considered grow bags before, I had never actually tried them—until now. It is still February, so I have not had the chance to plant anything yet, but based on my first impressions, I think these will be a great addition. The quality is impressive. I expected a thin, flimsy material that might tear easily, but these feel sturdy and well-made. The handles are securely stitched, and after giving them a few good tugs, I am confident they will hold up throughout the season. The size is also ideal. Last year, I tried growing tomatoes in five-gallon pots with mixed results. These 10-gallon bags seem like a much better option—deep and wide enough to allow the roots to spread and the plants to thrive. I also appreciate the breathable fabric, which should help with drainage and prevent root rot. Overall, I am really happy with these grow bags so far, especially for the price. If they perform as well as I expect this summer, I will definitely be buying more!

This year I'm giving grow bags a try in my garden. I've heard a lot of great things about these bags for growing or shorts of vegetables. These grow bags are made of high quality, aeration-enhancing nonwoven fabric that promotes healthy root growth by allow air to flow freely through the sides. It suppose to get optimal oxygen and moisture, which is key for promoting strong, thriving plants. The material used 300G fabric, is thick and sturdy and doesn't look like it can tear easy. It is made to last for years I hope. The 15gallon size is ideal for growing 2-3 tomatoes, 2-3 cucumber and 1 eggplants, providing ample space for their roots to spread out and grow freely. I'm sure they are perfect for pepper plants as well. I wouldn't use these bags for fruit trees or plant that have a strong root, that could puncture the bag. Additionally, these grow bags are lightweight and super easy to store compared to traditional nursery pots. When not in use, they can be folded up and stored away without taking much space, making them a great option for this with limited storage room. I would totally recommend these bags. Such a great investment and affordable.
