So my kids I think are still on the younger end and just learning how to dive but they're just happy randomly "diving" for the pretty looking gems on the shallow end of the pool. It definitely keeps them busy for a good while. For older children that are more likely to follow directions they'll probably have fun playing the included games. That is to say it's nice that you have that flexibility and options available. The pieces themselves feel like nice quality and its nice that the cards are waterproof.

Love how this diving set is a game. It is lots of fun for my kids. The pieces seem to be made well; they are heavy for quick sinking. Great set.

The coins rusted almost immediately. Then the next day the bag completely broke spilling everything. The plastic gems are also hollow so they don’t always sink and float away all over the pool. Buy a better quality and save yourself the headache.

The game is okay. 2 or 3 stars. The coins it come with are very sturdy and heavy, like a quarter, but rusted after one trip to the pool. The pieces are okay, they're too light in my opinion. The gold coins weigh more than the pieces. They didn't all sink and would float for hours on their own. The pool filter ended up sucking up half of the pieces because those got left in the pool overnight. I wish they were heavier to actually sink to the bottom of the pool. The cards and ring are super nice. Water proof and well printed. This did keep the kids occupied but I wish it was made a little bit better so it would last longer. Even if that made it a little bit heavier to carry/pack. -We used in a salt water pool.

I got a jewel diving set for my children and their cousins to use at the pool during a summer vacation. However, those jewels had very pointed edges and I was worried they would injure someone if we forgot where they were in the pool. This set is much better. Not only are the jewels less likely to cause injury if stepped on, but the water resistant cards are fantastic. They make for a great game, and each child could potentially be given their own card(s) or missions. We look forward to using these more as the weather warms up.
