It's a good product, just some things to be aware of. The heat required to shrink the tubing will have to greater than of a hair dryer. Secondly, when it cools down it will be very stiff. You might need to reheat to have it bend where needed.

I ordered a roll of this, and it came rolled up really tightly, and the glue on the inside is stuck to itself, probably from the heat of summer. They did make it right by shipping another roll, which was not rolled super tight, and the glue was not all stuck together on the inside. So that makes up for the first shipment, for sure. This is fairly heavy duty, and the shrink ratio is way better than you'll find at the home stores. The glue on the inside is obviously pretty good, and heat sensitive. I think in the future, I'll order this in the cooler months to avoid the possibility that the heat of summer is a root cause of it sticking. In the end, I'm pretty happy with the product, and I'll probably order more of it now that I know they will stand by the product. ... show more

I use this heat shrink tube for many different things. Good for making waterproof connections if you get the waterproof tubing, which I do as it is more useful than the regular tubing. Also good for rope on fraying ends. Got a extension cord that’s got a cut in the hide slip on a piece of tubing and it’s fixed. Much better than electric tape. ... show more

I ordered the 2" diameter which is exactly what I needed. What I received was 1 7/8", which was just a hair too small and would not fit my application. I ended up finding another use for it, but what I really needed was 2".
