    • BUYER BEWARE - SCRAP METAL FROM A MANIPULATIVE, FRAUDULENT SELLER
This is a poor product. The merchant will manipulate you into dropping your A-Z Warranty claim in order to take your Money! Do not purchase from this merchant! I was fooled into believing this product was high quality and I ordered it as a Father's Day gift for my husband in 2020. First, the toolbox is flimsy. The metal is very poor and it is not functional. It's cheap scrap metal. It is embarrassingly poor quality. Please do not buy it as a gift for someone else. They will assume, based on quality, that it was probably from Dollar General. Second, the product arrived defective and broken, and the company misrepresented and manipulated me into closing my A-Z Claim in order to evade accepting my return and keep Amazon unaware of their antics. Defective: There are certain places on the toolbox that require predrilled holes and groove to put it together that were completely either unbridled or in a spot very far from the Sprouse connecting based on the directions, picture, and common sense. It displays poor workmanship. Also, there were missing parts, and broken parts. It was actually shocking and an embarrassing gift. After an hour trying to make it work, I gave up on the poorly designed product and opted to refund it, as the return policy indicates. Buyer BEWARE - FRAUDULENT SELLER!!! Return: Needless to say, I contacted the company about a return only 3 days after I received it - the day after Father's Day 2020, June 22, 2020. First, the company refused to issue a full refund for the defective product. They offered to refund me 20% of the cost of the item and make me keep the useless cheap scrap metal. They then said that I had to pay them MORE money in order to return the product for a PARTIAL refund. Yes, you are reading this correctly!!! I paid them for a defective item, they charge me more money, I return scrap metal junk to them, and they still give me back less than my original payment, and less than the extra money!! It is unbelievable!!! Needless to say, I filed an AMAZON A-Z WARRANTY CLAIM. Amazon A-Z Claim: Interestingly, after filling an Amazon A-Z Warranty claim against the company, they immediately contacted me and admitted they were wrong. They offered to give me a full refund and keep the scrap metal to save them shipping costs of the crappy item return, BUT ONLY IF I CANCELED THE A-Z WARRANTY CLAIM because they did not want Amazon investigating them. I do not know why I did it, but I just wanted it to be over with, and trusted them... again... and canceled my claim on July 3, 2020. WHY DID I TRUST THESE FRAUDSTERS?? MANIPULATED: After canceling my claim, I contacted them for the refund. It has been over a month, and past the time for a refund, and they have refused to issue a refund. Instead, they keep telling my that they are waiting for the system to reflect that the claim is canceled, although I have called Amazon 3 times to confirm the claim is canceled. Amazon assured me that the claim has been canceled since July 3, 2020. It is August 3, 2020 today, and the company is still claiming that the claim is open. Most recently, Amazon informed me that it would not have taken this long to resolve a claim, even if the claim was open. And, of course, Amazon confirmed it was closed and has to reopen ANOTHER A-Z warranty claim on July 30, 2020, bc, as you can imagine, they were quite disturbed to know that this company was manipulating customers into closing investigations. This is a great purchase to hold all you tools. It's has wheels easy to move. It is nice and slightly on the smaller side.

This isn't a bad item, as long as the storage is for smaller items. It is kind of a smaller size so it would not work well for large needs. But this is still a decent item.

    • Choose something else
This is made of flimsy metal, and several pieces came bent together. The exterior box was in perfect condition, so it’s pretty clear they noticed and just packed it that way anyway. I had to manually re-bend several pieces into their normal positioning just to make it usable. 3 screws were missing as well, and one screw was completely stripped. I’m guessing they sent me a previously returned item that they decided not to check. The top box can’t even latch since it’s so dented and bent. If it wasn’t so bulky I would have sent it back. ... show more
